Barley for scanty menstruation

Barley for scanty menstruation

Job's tears do have good effects on the human body, especially for women who often eat job's tears. Their complexions are obviously much more rosy than other women, so job's tears has the effect of beautifying the skin and increasing blood. However, there are some precautions when eating coix seed. Because coix seed is a relatively cold food, female friends should eat less coix seed at certain special times. So can women with less menstrual flow eat coix seed?

Can I eat coix seed if I have irregular menstruation? Compared with men, women generally have a colder constitution, so in daily life it is best for female friends not to eat too much cold food. Job's tears itself is sweet, mild and slightly cold in nature, so people with irregular menstruation should avoid eating it.

Job's tears contains a variety of vitamins and minerals, which can promote metabolism. It can be an excellent tonic for weak patients after illness to eat some. Medical research shows that the selenium contained in coix seed can effectively inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells and has a certain auxiliary effect on the treatment of cervical cancer. However, because Job's tears is a cold food, people with cold body, irregular menstruation, and women during menstruation should not eat it. Women in early pregnancy should especially avoid eating Job's tears.

Foods that should not be eaten during menstruation:

1. Crab: Crab is very cold in nature and can clear away heat, cool blood and disperse blood stasis. Women should avoid eating raw, cold foods during menstruation, especially those who suffer from cold dysmenorrhea. They should avoid eating crabs.

2. Milk: Milk, cheese, cream, yeast milk and other cheeses are the source of dysmenorrhea. These foods will destroy the body's absorption of magnesium and cause dysmenorrhea.

3. Chocolate: High-sugar sweets such as chocolate not only fail to improve menstrual discomfort symptoms, but may affect the balance of hormones in the body due to unstable blood sugar, and aggravate the discomfort during menstruation.

4. Green tea: Green tea contains more than 30% tannic acid, which easily combines with iron ions in the intestine to produce precipitation, hindering the intestinal mucosa's absorption of iron ions, causing breast pain, anxiety, irritability and other negative emotions.

5. Salt: It is harmful for women to eat salty food before their menstrual period. Too salty food will increase the salt and water reserves in the body, causing headaches, excitement, irritability, etc. before menstruation.
