How to make gold and silver steamed buns

1. Add white sugar to milk.

2. Heat over low heat until warm, stirring to dissolve the sugar completely.

3. Add dry yeast and stir until completely dissolved.

4. Slowly pour the dissolved yeast milk into the flour and knead into a smooth dough.

5. Place in a warm place and let ferment until it doubles or triples in size.

6. Release the air, knead thoroughly and evenly, then roll it into strips of uniform thickness. The thickness of the strips depends on the size of the buns you want to make. The one I rolled is a little thicker than my thumb.

7. Cut the raw dough into small steamed buns of the same size.

8. Shape it slightly with your hands and place it on the steamer for secondary fermentation. After fermentation, steam it on high heat for 15 minutes.

9. Try to arrange the steamed buns on a plate. After confirming the quantity, take half of the buns and fry them in a pan over medium-low heat.

10. Turn over and fry until the buns are golden brown, then remove from the pan and drain excess oil.

11. Cut the orange in half, use a cookie cutter to make a heart-shaped shape, and then remove the orange flesh from the heart-shaped mold.

12. Arrange the dish, place the processed half orange in the middle, pour condensed milk in the hollowed-out orange flesh and serve.
