Every time you visit friends or colleagues’ homes, you’ll find that they all have one or two specialties. But every time it was my turn, I was always short of money. You look particularly embarrassed like this, don't you? So, for the sake of your dignity, come and learn from me how to make homemade rose, wolfberry and red date vinegar. 1. Prepare an empty bottle and wash the dirt in the bottle with clean water 2.121 Put the washed glass bottle into water, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to medium-low heat and continue cooking for about 15 minutes 3.212 Put enough cold water in the pot 4. Take out the glass bottle, turn it upside down on the chopping board, and drain the water in the bottle (Hui Xin's intimate tip 1: If you don't want to boil the glass bottle, be sure to scald it with boiling water to disinfect and eliminate the odor in the glass bottle) 5. Use kitchen paper towel to wipe off the dust on the surface of red dates 6.121 Prepared Roses 7.212 Clean the red dates and tear them into small pieces by hand 8. Prepared wolfberries 9. Put the rose, wolfberry and red dates into a clean, water-free and oil-free small bowl, and pour an appropriate amount of brewed rice vinegar into the bowl. 10. Make sure the rice vinegar covers the surface of the food, stir several times in one direction with chopsticks, and pour out the rice vinegar in the bowl (Hui Xin’s intimate tip 2: Use rice vinegar to wash red dates, roses and wolfberries, not water, as water can easily cause the vinegar to deteriorate) 11. Put the washed rose, wolfberry and red dates into a glass bottle that has been drained of moisture (Hui Xin’s intimate tip 3: When putting rose, red dates and wolfberry into the glass bottle, make sure that the glass bottle is dry and free of water, otherwise, the vinegar will deteriorate easily if it is stained with moisture) 12. Pour brewed rice vinegar into the glass bottle (Hui Xin’s intimate tip 4: It is best to use brewed rice vinegar) 13. Make sure the rice vinegar covers the surface of the food, leaving about 1 to 2 cm between the rice vinegar and the mouth of the glass bottle (Note: When I made it on the first day, there was only half a bottle of rice vinegar left at home, so I didn't fill it up), cover the bottle cap, and soak it in a cool place 14. After soaking for a day, you can see that the rice vinegar in the glass bottle gradually turns red. Next to it is the color of rice vinegar. You can see the effect by comparing them. 15. The next day I bought another bottle of rice vinegar and added it to the glass bottle, leaving about 1 to 2 centimeters between the rice vinegar and the mouth of the glass bottle. 16. Cover the bottle and soak it in a cool place 17. The color after soaking for two days. Because I added nearly half of the rice vinegar on the second day, there may not be much difference in color. 18. Open the bottle cap on the third day and you can see the color of the rose gradually fades. 19. Add a small amount of rice vinegar to the glass bottle, leaving about 1 to 2 cm between the rice vinegar and the mouth of the glass bottle. The method of making homemade rose, wolfberry and red date vinegar has been introduced. You may not have mastered it yet, but you must practice more. You can take time to go to the kitchen to make it. |
