Homemade braised tofu with soy sauce

There are many ways to prepare tofu in our daily life. You can prepare it according to your favorite taste, such as braised tofu with sauce or fish head tofu soup. The method of making braised tofu in sauce requires using Oyster mushrooms and soybean paste as seasonings, then putting the tofu into the pan and frying it until it turns golden brown, then adding the seasonings and simmering it until the sauce is reduced and it can be served.

Braised Tofu with Soybean Sauce

Ingredients: 5 bricks of tofu, 250 grams of enoki mushrooms, some slices of ginger, some soybean paste, some rock sugar

1. Wash and blanch the enoki mushrooms.

2. Put a small amount of oil in the pan, add ginger slices after heating, add tofu and fry until both sides are golden brown.

3. Add in Oyster mushroom, then add appropriate amount of water, rock sugar and soybean paste and simmer until the juice is reduced.

Braised Tofu with Soy Sauce

Ingredients: tofu, garlic, red pepper, tomato sauce, chili sauce, soy sauce, star anise, salt, water

1. Cut the tofu into thick slices, fry both sides in a frying pan until golden brown, then cut into strips;

2. Add oil to the wok, fry the garlic slices until fragrant, add some red pepper and stir-fry, then add tomato sauce, water, a little chili sauce, soy sauce, salt, and a star anise to adjust the taste;

3. Put the tofu strips in and stew until soft. Sprinkle some of my garlic sprouts before serving! Very chewy tofu!

Braised Tofu with Mushrooms

Ingredients: 300g tofu, 50g lean pork, 8 mushrooms, 2 red peppers, onion, ginger, garlic, salt, dark soy sauce, pepper powder, sugar, MSG, vegetable oil

1. Cut the tofu into rectangular slices and fry them in a frying pan until both sides are golden brown. (Can also be fried)

2. Remove the stems of the mushrooms and cut into four pieces; cut the red pepper into sections.

3. Cut the green onion into sections, slice the ginger and garlic, and cut the lean meat into thin strips.

4. Put an appropriate amount of vegetable oil in the pot, heat it up, then add the shredded meat and stir-fry.

5. Add ginger, onion and garlic and stir-fry until fragrant. Add tofu slices and stir-fry.

6. Add red pepper, mushroom pieces, salt, sugar, pepper powder and dark soy sauce.

7. Add a bowl of water (preferably broth), simmer over low heat until the sauce thickens, add a little MSG and stir-fry before serving.

Braised Tofu

Ingredients: 2 blocks of tofu. 1000 grams of oil (about 75 grams consumed), 1 tablespoon each of Shaoxing wine and soy sauce, 1/2 spoon of sugar, 1/3 teaspoon of salt and MSG, a little bit of green onion, ginger slices, pepper and star anise.

1. Cut the tofu into 5 cm long, 3.3 cm wide and 1 cm thick pieces. Fry them in 80% hot oil until golden brown. Pour into a colander.

2. Leave a proper amount of oil in the original pot, stir-fry onion, ginger slices, peppercorns and aniseed, add Shaoxing wine, soy sauce and sugar, add soup and bring to a boil, add fried tofu cubes, turn to low heat and simmer until the tofu is well-seasoned. When the soup is thick, add salt and MSG to adjust the taste, pick out peppercorns and aniseed, use high heat to reduce the sauce, drizzle with cooking oil, and serve.
