How to cook spicy beef with garlic and bamboo shoots

1. Thaw the beef ribs and cut them into pieces for later use

3. Soak the dried bamboo shoots in water until soft.

4. Peel and wash the single garlic and set aside

5. Add cold water to the pot, add chopped beef, bay leaves, star anise, peppercorns, and 15ml cooking wine and bring to a boil

6. Take out the blanched beef and drain it for later use

7. Add spicy hot pot base (I used Haidilao hot pot base) to the bottom of the pot and stir-fry until fragrant

8. Add the blanched beef, cooking wine, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce and rock sugar and stir fry

9. Mix the spices in the seasoning bag and put them into the pot

10. Remove the old roots of the soaked bamboo shoots, cut them into sections and put them into the pot

11. Add hot water to the stew pot, cover the pot, put it in the lower layer of the oven, heat at 180 degrees for 1 hour

12. After 1 hour, take out the stew pot, open the lid, add the single garlic, season with salt, cover the lid, and continue to heat in the oven for about 1 hour.
