Beef stew with potatoes and konjac

1. The beef needs to be stewed for about 50 minutes. The method is: prepare boiling water in advance, blanch the beef, remove the blood, and rinse it clean. Then put the pot in cold water, add a section of green onion, two slices of ginger, and two or three drops of vinegar and stew for about 50 minutes. The beef soup can be cooked separately.

2. After boiling water, add konjac and cook for three to five minutes

3. Soak the konjac in water for an hour or two to remove the lime smell. Change water in between

4. Put some oil in the pan, add meat and potatoes and stir fry

5. Add the stewed beef and stir fry

6. Pour in soy sauce for coloring, and then add a small amount of cooking wine after it is fully colored.

7. Pour in enough water and add salt and sugar to taste. Wrap the bay leaves, half a star anise, a small piece of cinnamon and a small amount of fennel in gauze and put them in the pot. Add konjac. After boiling over medium heat, simmer over low heat for about half an hour until the meat is tender and flavorful. Then turn up the heat to reduce the sauce, and it’s best to add some oyster sauce :)
