How to make green tea steamed buns

1. Weigh various materials.

2.1 Take half of the flour, add green tea powder and half of the sugar and mix well.

3.2 Add yeast to warm water and let it sit for a while until the yeast is completely dissolved.

4.1 Knead into a smooth green tea dough.

5.2 Add half of the yeast water and stir with chopsticks until it becomes floc-like.

6.1 Take out the fermented green tea dough, deflate it, knead it into the original size, and then roll it into a rectangular dough sheet.

7.2 Add the remaining half of the flour, the remaining half of the sugar and the yeast water, and knead it into a natural dough using the same method. Cover the kneaded dough with plastic wrap and let it ferment for about half an hour.

8. Use the same method to roll the original color dough into smaller pieces, place them on the green tea dough, and then use a rolling pin to roll them slightly to allow the two colors of dough to stick together.

9.Roll up the rolled dough from top or bottom with the seam facing downwards.

10. Move to the chopping board and cut into small steamed buns.

11. Place the steamed bun dough on a rack coated with a thin layer of oil, then put it into a pot filled with cold water and ferment it for a second time until it is 1.5 times its original size.

12. Bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to medium heat and steam for about 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes before opening the lid.
