How to make homemade apple jam

1. Ingredients: 600g of Fuji apple pulp, 2 lemons (35g of juice), 320g of rock sugar, and 150g of cold boiled water;

2. Wash the lemon, cut it in half and squeeze out 35g of juice;

3. Wash and peel the apples, cut in half, remove the core, and cut into large pieces and divide into equal portions;

4. Cut half of the apples into 0.5cm cubes, and cut the other half into fine pieces;

5. Mix apples, lemon juice and rock sugar in a glass bowl, seal it with plastic wrap, put it in the refrigerator for 10 to 12 hours, and stir it every 3 to 4 hours;

6. Prepare the jam glass bottles one day in advance, wash them and put them in a pot, add water to cover the bottles, and steam for 15 minutes;

7. Take it out, turn it upside down, dry it and set it aside;

8. Take it out from the refrigerator and pour it into the pot (add 150g of cold boiled water to the pot first);

9. Heat over medium-low heat and stir occasionally;

10. Remove the astringent juice after boiling;

11. Continue heating and stirring until the jam is concentrated to only 1/2; turn off the heat when the jam becomes thick;

12. Put the jam into the bottle, cover the bottle tightly and turn it upside down while it is still hot;

13. After turning the bottle upside down for 30 minutes, wash it and place it at room temperature for 3 to 7 days before refrigerating it.
