How to make pork and sauerkraut stuffed buns

Pork and sauerkraut stuffed buns are a very common home-cooked dish. After a busy work day, you can go home and have a dish like this to relax yourself. This dish has high nutritional value, is healthy and nutritious, and is suitable for people of different ages. Moreover, the color of this dish makes it look very appetizing.

1. Put the flour into a bowl.

2. Dissolve the yeast in warm water.

3. Pour the mixture into the flour in circles, stirring with chopsticks until it becomes cotton-like.

4. Knead into a smooth dough, cover with plastic wrap and place in a warm place to ferment.

5. Use the dough fermentation time to make the filling. Wash and chop the sauerkraut, squeeze out the water, and chop the pork.

6. Chop the green onion and ginger into fine pieces.

7. Put the minced meat into a container and add the chopped onions and ginger.

8. Add oil, light soy sauce, cooking wine, thirteen spices, salt and chicken essence.

9. Stir in a clockwise direction until the meat filling is firm.

10. Add sauerkraut and mix well for later use.

11. Let the dough ferment until it is 2 to 2.5 times its original size.

12. Poke the middle with your index finger and see if there is no retraction.

13. When the dough is opened and becomes honeycomb-shaped, it is ready.

14. Knead the dough evenly.

15. Take an appropriate amount of dough, roll it into long strips, and cut it into pieces of appropriate size.

16. Flatten it with your palm.

17. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a slightly thicker middle and thinner edges.

18. Take a piece of pastry and put an appropriate amount of filling in the middle.

19. Use your thumb and index finger to pinch out an edge.

20. Keep your thumb still, and use your index finger to pinch the pastry towards your thumb to create folds.

21. Until the seam is closed.

22. Wrap the buns one by one and let them rise for 20 minutes.

23. Pour cold water into the pot, leaving some space between the buns, bring to a boil over high heat and steam for 15 minutes.
