5. Put the gelatin powder into the milk and soak it at room temperature for a while to allow it to fully expand. Then, add water to the pot and simmer until everything melts, then stir well and set aside.

6. Use a whisk to slowly beat the cream until it is 70%.

7. After the three types of milk are prepared, pour the three-in-one into a bowl and gently stir evenly. Preparing 5 pieces of tableware of the same size will make it easier to distinguish the amounts when distributing the colored mousse paste in the next step. Distribute the mousse paste according to the design plan from the outer circle to the inner circle. For the outer circle, leave more cake paste, and the amount will decrease as you go inwards. For the color in the center, a little bit is enough. Use a small amount of food coloring to mix four colors of mousse paste according to your preference. Leave a part white to make one of the colors, and the colorful cake paste is ready.

8. Then pour the most mousse paste into the cake mold first according to the order prepared in advance. When it comes to the second color, be sure to slowly pour it from the center of the cake mold and let it flow out to the surrounding areas to form the first ring. Repeat the previous steps for the following colors from most to least to form a colorful ring.

9. When I was completing this process, I injected blue too quickly, which covered part of the pink and affected the overall appearance. I had no choice but to make the best of it and continue injecting until all the pink and white were covered. From the surface of the cake, it looks like a tri-color cake. But the inside of the cake is still colorful. This also leaves a foreshadowing and expectation for the cake cutting session. Refrigerate the cake for more than two hours to allow the mousse to fully solidify. Normally the mousse should be finished at this stage, but I felt that the pattern on the surface of the cake was not what I expected and I was not satisfied with it, so I started thinking about how to make up for this flaw.

10. I thought of making another mirror to cover up the shortcomings. It just so happens that I’m out of gelatin powder at home. I have a bag of Hello Kitty candies that I haven't used since I bought them, so I decided to use them. I chose red strawberry-flavored candy for the mirror. The bright red color can easily stimulate the human brain, and may help suppress people's dissatisfaction and cover up the unhappiness caused by the imperfect pattern.

11. Add an equal amount of water to the candy and cook it directly in a pot. (The water-stewing method seems very time-consuming)

12. Place the cake pan on a level surface. Use a small spoon to slowly pour the melted syrup onto the cake, and shake the cake mold appropriately to make the surface level. The overall operation speed needs to be faster because the sugar liquid is very thin and the mousse below is refrigerated, so it solidifies quickly.

13. A big red mirror is basically completed, and my mood has improved by several levels. Put it in the refrigerator for half an hour to completely solidify.

14. If you like to eat fruits, you can decorate the cake with fruits of various colors, and feel that this is the most luxurious cake you have made. The fruits I used are kiwi, coconut flesh, mango and grapes, and the colors are bright enough. Lighting red candles to celebrate family’s birthdays, what a romantic and warm scene, I was intoxicated.

15. Of course, the most exciting moment is when the cake is cut. The black base, the colorful mousse cake, and the red mirror surface, the color combination is really perfect. In a good mood.
