How to make hand-painted cherry cake roll

An unhealthy diet can often be a triggering factor for disease. If we don’t want to have problems with our bodies, we should not eat out casually. It is better to cook it ourselves if possible. The method of hand-painted cherry cake roll is relatively simple. Even if you don’t cook much, you can master it through simple learning.

1. Prepare the required materials

2. Separate the egg yolk and egg white. Make sure to beat the egg white in a bowl without water or oil.

3. Mix the egg yolk, milk, corn oil, salt and 10 grams of sugar, then sift the low-gluten flour into the egg yolk liquid, stir up and down until there are no particles.

4. Add a few drops of lemon juice to the egg whites and beat with an electric whisk until coarse foam is formed. Add one third of the sugar, continuing to beat, and add the remaining sugar in two additions.

5. Beat until it reaches between wet peaks and hard peaks, and when you lift the whisk, there should be a curved hook. Don't beat it too dry, otherwise the cake will crack.

6. Take 1/3 of the egg white into the egg yolk bowl

7. Stir evenly from bottom to top. Do not stir in circles to avoid defoaming.

8. Pour the mixed batter into the remaining egg whites and stir again to make cake batter.

9. Use two small bowls to beat two small spoons of cake batter in each bowl, add a drop of pigment and mix well.

11. Line the baking tray with baking paper, cut a small hole in the piping bag, hold the piping bag in your hand, and draw a cherry pattern on the baking paper.

12. Place the baking tray in a preheated oven at 180 degrees and bake for 1 minute to set. The surface of the fixed pattern is dry and there is no liquid flow.

13. Pour the cake batter into the baking pan and smooth it with a spatula. Hold the baking tray with both hands and gently drop it a few times to shake off the bubbles.

14. Place in the middle layer of the preheated oven at 160 degrees for 35 minutes. Adjust it according to your oven. Take out the baking tray, shake it, and invert it onto the baking rack. Carefully tear off the wax paper while it’s still hot, and cover it with a new piece of wax paper. Turn it upside down with the browned side facing up.

15. Roll up the cake. Lift the wax paper first and put a rolling pin underneath to prevent the cake from cracking. Try to roll it as tight as possible. It can be cut and enjoyed after it is set for 5 minutes.
