How to make golden pumpkin mooncake

1. Prepare steamed pumpkin and snowy mooncakes and mix with flour.

2. The pumpkin has just been steamed. Do not pour out the soup inside. Use a spoon to quickly mash the pumpkin into a paste.

3. Pour in the snowy moon biscuit mixture. The snowy moon biscuit mixture is bought from Xiangha.

4. Put on disposable gloves and knead the dry powder and pumpkin into dough. Be careful not to get burned as the pumpkin is a little hot. Let the dough cool.

5. Prepare the mooncake filling, which is made in advance.

6. Knead the cooled dough until it is smooth, roll it into long strips, and cut it into pieces.

7. Roll the dough and mooncake filling into balls. The dough weighs about 30 grams and the mooncake filling weighs about 20 grams. There is not enough black rice filling, so two mooncake molds with walnut and peanut fillings are used. The mooncake mold weighs 50 grams.

8. Knead the dough into a thin skin with your hands, or you can use a rolling pin to roll it thin, and put the mooncake filling in the middle of the skin.

9. Fold the dough around and pinch it tightly (as shown in the picture). I forgot to take a picture of the back side.

10. Sprinkle some dry mixed powder or brush a little oil into the mooncake mold, and put the dough in your hand in Figure 9 into the mold (the back side is photographed here).

11. Use a mold to press out the flower shape.

12. This is the filled dough and several pressed mooncakes.

13. Display some of the pressed mooncakes. Put them in the refrigerator and freeze them for a while before eating.

14. Serving mooncakes in shells has a unique flavor.
