Traditional mooncake recipe

The busy life makes many people careless about their diet, and they deal with their three meals a day casually. Little do they know that this can easily lead to a sub-healthy state of the body. In fact, the traditional mooncake method is simple and delicious. It is a recommended home-cooked dish that you may as well eat often.

1. Mix the invert sugar syrup, cooking oil and alkaline water, sift in low flour, stir into a dough, cover with plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

2. Don’t waste time preparing the sugar dough. Divide the filling into 35g pieces and roll them into balls.

3. After one hour, divide the dough into 25g pieces and slowly wrap the fillings in them like making bean buns.

4. Sprinkle a thin layer of high-gluten flour on the mold, put in the wrapped dough, press gently into shape, and demould. Spray a little water on it, put it in the oven for 5 minutes, take it out and brush it with egg yolk water, then put it in the oven at 180 degrees and bake for 15 minutes (set the time according to the temperature of your own oven)

5. Ding Dong, OK, it’s done.
