1. Guilin Rice Noodles

Guilin rice noodles are a traditional snack with a long history in Guilin, Guangxi, and are well-known for their unique flavor. The workmanship is exquisite. First, the best early indica rice is ground into pulp, put into bags and filtered, then kneaded into dough, cooked and pressed into round roots or slices. The round ones are called rice noodles, the flaky ones are called cut noodles, and the common ones are called rice noodles. They are characterized by being white, tender, soft, smooth and refreshing. There are many ways to eat it. The most important thing in making the brine is the making of it, and the techniques vary from family to family. It is generally made by boiling pork, beef bones, monk fruit and various condiments, and has a strong aroma.

2. Lotus Leaf Duck

The lotus leaf duck in Guilin is a traditional local nourishing dish. It is both nutritious and delicious, a fried and steamed dish with crispy meat and fragrant taste. The green lotus leaves grown in the lotus root forest in the suburbs of Guilin are used to wrap the duck to make a dish that is fragrant and delicious with a unique flavor.

3. Yangshuo Beer Fish

Yangshuo's beer fish is made from large fresh carps from the Li River in Yangshuo. 5. Guilin Song Cake

Guilin Songgao is a Guilin snack made from glutinous rice, brown sugar water and other ingredients. Glutinous rice is mixed with an appropriate amount of polished japonica rice and ground into powder. A little brown sugar water is added and mixed evenly. The semi-dry and semi-wet rice powder is then sprinkled layer by layer into a steamer and steamed for one to two hours until cooked through. It tastes soft, refreshing, sweet and pleasant. It tastes even better if paired with diced Lipu taro.

Nun vegetarian noodles and Guilin rice noodles can be regarded as sister snacks and are one of the local snacks in Guilin, Guangxi. Guilin's nun noodles have a long history. It is said that 100 years ago, there was a nun in Yinzhen Rock on Crescent Moon Mountain who was good at making vegetarian noodles with particularly delicious taste. Over time, people called it nun noodles. The noodles are made by boiling bean sprouts, straw mushrooms, shiitake mushroom feet, winter bamboo shoots, etc. The soup is golden in color and clear in the mouth. If you top it with vegetarian dishes such as straw mushrooms, vegetarian ham, gluten, sprinkle it with sesame oil, fried peanuts, pepper and other crispy ingredients, it will taste even more delicious, sweet and refreshing.

7. Bean paste glutinous rice

Steam the best glutinous rice and make it into rice balls, with sweet bean paste as the main filling, then mix it with fried sesame seeds, chopped green onions and oil. The rice is soft and chewy, and the filling is fresh and fragrant, full of flavor.
