1. Add yeast and appropriate amount of water to flour, stir well and knead into a soft and smooth dough. Cover and ferment

2. Ferment until it is twice and a half times its original size. Fermentation is complete when it does not shrink or collapse when poked with a finger.

3. Turn on low heat when the dough is rising, add 30 grams of oil, 50 grams of flour, and add appropriate amount of salt and five-spice powder

4. Fry until cooked

5. After the fermented dough is exhausted, roll it into thin slices

6. Spread the fried and cooled puff pastry on top

7. Fold the left and right sides together

8. Fold three times from top to bottom

9. Roll into thin slices

10. Continue to fold left and right

11. Three folds up and down

12. Roll into thin slices

13. Cut into pieces

14. Put it in the baking tray, cover and ferment for half an hour

15. Cake until the dough is doubled in size or more.

16. Brush with egg wash

17. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees for 15 minutes

18. The five-spice fried pancakes are very delicious. The key is that it won’t harden when it cools down.
