How to make eggplant buns

The busy life makes many people be careless in diet, and they deal with their three meals a day casually. Little do they know that this can easily lead to a sub-healthy state of the body. In fact, eggplant buns are simple and delicious to make. It is a recommended home-cooked dish that you may as well eat often.

1. Prepare the ingredients: eggplant, green pepper, and flour.

2. Add baking powder to the flour, mix with warm water, and knead it into a smooth dough and let it rest for half an hour.

3. Dice the eggplant and green pepper, put them in a container, add oil, salt, chicken essence, and spicy powder, stir well and set aside.

4. Knead the dough into long strips.

5. Use a knife to cut the shepherd's purse into equal sizes.

6. Roll the shepherd's purse into a ball and flatten it with your hands.

7. Use the flattened shepherd's purse to make bun skins.

8. Wrap green peppers and eggplants in the bun skin, use your hands to pinch it into the shape of the bun, and tighten the tail to make the bun. Continue until all the buns are wrapped.

9. Steam the wrapped buns for 20 minutes. Wait for 3 minutes before opening the lid. Take out the steamed buns and put them on a plate. They are ready to eat.
