step:

1. Clean the pig heart, remove the blood, and then cut into thin slices;

3. Put the pig heart slices into a dish, add shredded ginger, starch, soy sauce, cooking oil, sugar, and cooking wine, then mix well with your hands and let it stand for half an hour to let the pig heart marinate;

4. Put the marinated pig heart into the rice cooker and steam it for about eight minutes.

What should I pay attention to when steaming pig heart?

Steamed pig heart is a very nourishing dish. The price of pig heart on the market is not expensive, about ten or twenty yuan each, and steamed pig heart often appears on people's tables. However, the following issues should be noted when steaming pig heart.

1. Clean the pig heart

The pig heart is equivalent to a high-pressure pump, which contains countless capillaries, so simply rinsing it with water will not work when cleaning the pig heart. While washing, squeeze with your hands to expel the clotted blood inside.

2. Marinate with cooking wine, shredded ginger, etc. to remove the fishy smell

All meat foods have a certain fishy smell, especially the pig heart, which is a blood supply organ and has a much stronger fishy smell than pork. Therefore, in order to make it taste better, it should be marinated with cooking wine, shredded ginger and other ingredients to remove the fishy smell.

3. Suitable for steaming in rice cooker

The pig heart is easier to cook after slicing it and then steaming it, so you can simply use a rice cooker to steam it, or cook it together with the rice. When the rice is cooked, the pig heart will be cooked as well. If you are steaming the pig heart alone, it will take about eight minutes.
