The method of making pork ribs stewed rice in a rice cooker is very simple and the purchase of ingredients is also very convenient.

1. Finished product picture.

2. Wash the rice and soak it in water for 10-20 minutes.

3. Peel and slice the ginger, peel and dice the carrots, peel and wash the corn kernels.

4. Wash the ribs, boil water in a pot and cook them again. Remove from the water, rinse and drain.

5. Heat oil in a pan, add spareribs and ginger slices and stir-fry over high heat until the spareribs are golden brown.

6. Add diced carrots and corn kernels and stir-fry over high heat for 1 minute.

7. Pour a little cooking wine along the edge of the pot and stir-fry for half a minute. Then add a few rock sugars, a little light soy sauce, three spoons of dark soy sauce, salt, and a little chicken essence and stir-fry until colored.

8. Pour clean water until it is slightly above the ingredients, boil over high heat for 1 minute, then simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. (The amount of water depends on the amount of rice. If you are not sure, you can use the inner pot of the rice cooker to measure it. Generally, a few cups of rice will require a certain amount of water. There are scales on the inner wall.)

9. Add the soaked rice, drain the water and pour it into the rice cooker.

10. Pour the cooked pork ribs and soup into the rice cooker and stir well. The amount of soup is the same as when cooking rice. If you like it a little harder, add a little less soup. (If there is too much soup, save it for cooking soup dishes. If there is less soup, add some hot water. If you are not sure about the saltiness, you can dip it in the soup to taste it. It is about right if it is slightly saltier than usual, because rice also absorbs salt.)

11. Start the rice cooker and cook rice as usual. Don't open the lid immediately after the time is up. Let it simmer for a while longer before eating.

12. Cut the green onion into flowers.

13. Open the lid, it’s just the right softness and hardness! The color is also beautiful! Sprinkle with chopped green onions.

14. Serve and enjoy!
