What additives are there in the buns?

Nowadays, everyone is very concerned about the issue of additives when eating, because some food additives can cause harm to the body, and some can bring some bad effects. Although the buns sold outside are more delicious than those made at home, everyone is very worried about whether the additives in the buns will have an impact on the body. If you are more worried, you can learn to make them at home, which is both safe and delicious.

Adding food additives to food is not healthy, and there are tricks to making buns without the skin falling apart.

Use the following method to make the buns more plump:

1. Fermentation is complete.

Making buns also requires two fermentations. After kneading the dough, let it rise to twice its size. After making the buns, put them into the steamer and let them ferment again. The buns that have been fermented twice taste great, so soft and cottony. You can't believe that these are buns you made yourself. They are much more delicious than the buns sold outside with all kinds of additives.

2. Steam for two minutes.

Do not open the lid immediately after the buns are cooked, because the buns will shrink when they go from hot to cold in an instant. It is safer to wait for 2 minutes before opening the lid. This is generally called false steaming.

3. Do not open the lid midway.

Once you turn on the fire to steam the buns, you must not open the lid halfway. Once you open the lid and continue steaming, the buns will not continue to rise, but will remain the size you saw when you just opened the lid.

4. Knead the dough until smooth.

After the dough is fermented, many pores will appear in the dough, so you must remember to knead the dough well after the first fermentation to knead out all the pores inside. Keep kneading until the dough is very smooth. This requires patience to eat perfect buns.

5. Control the amount of water.

Generally speaking, the ratio of one pound of flour to six ounces of water is more reasonable and will give the best taste. If there is too much water, the buns will collapse easily, so the amount of water must be controlled well.
