How to make Shawan big plate chicken

A healthy diet and balanced nutrition are important guarantees for our body to stay healthy. Although eating in a restaurant is simple, it is difficult to ensure a healthy diet, so if you can, it is best to cook it yourself. The method of Shawan Dapanji is actually very simple, and you can make it yourself as long as you are willing.

1. Prepare the ingredients. You can use chicken legs or a whole chicken. After cutting the chicken legs, soak them in cold water for 1 hour to remove the blood.

2. Put the chicken in cold water and slowly remove the blood foam. Turn off the fire, pour out the water, and rinse the blood foam on the surface of the meat.

3. Cut the potatoes into dice and cut the onions and green peppers into large pieces. Chop the onion, ginger and garlic.

4. Turn on the fire, pour in cooking oil, add a spoonful of white sugar, and when the sugar melts and bubbles, pour it into the chicken.

5. As shown in the picture, fry until the chicken pieces are colored.

6. Add dried chili peppers, bay leaves, cinnamon, onion, ginger, garlic, and peppercorns, stir-fry, then add the big plate chicken seasoning and stir-fry until colored.

7. After stir-frying, add water. Don’t add too much water, just enough to cover the meat by about one finger.

8. After adding, stew for about 20 minutes. The stewing time may vary for different chicken varieties. You can try it with chopsticks. If you can poke it, you can add potatoes.

9. Add potatoes and stew for about 5 minutes. You can also use chopsticks to simmer the potatoes in the same way. Add onions and green peppers and stir-fry, then turn off the heat. Cover the pot and simmer for 1 minute before serving.

10. Sprinkle some chopped green onion and coriander on top after serving

There is nothing wrong with being busy with work, but neglecting diet is not right. The preparation of Shawan Dapanji is simple. As long as you are willing, you can balance work and life.
