Pumpkin puree and black sesame steamed buns

As winter approaches, it’s time for a big stew. The method of making pumpkin puree and black sesame buns is simple and easy. After preparing the ingredients and condiments, you can stir-fry, add water, and slow-cook. You can add salad oil, cooking wine, chicken essence, etc. according to your personal preference. Many people like to pair it with onions, which is also a good choice. Learn these methods quickly during the winter!

1. Cut a piece of pumpkin, peel it, remove the seeds and wash it.

2. Cut the pumpkin into pieces

3. Steam the cut pumpkin pieces in a pot

4. After the steamed pumpkin has cooled, put it into a blender and blend it into a paste with a cooking stick.

5. Put black sesame seeds in a cooking cup and beat them into black sesame powder

6. Add yeast to the flour and mix.

7. Add appropriate amount of pumpkin puree to the flour.

8. Use chopsticks to stir until it becomes flocculent

9. Then knead it into a smooth dough.

10. Cover with plastic wrap and place in a warm place to ferment until it doubles in size.

14. Overlap the two dough pieces and put them together.

15. Apply oil to the overlapped dough.

16. Then roll it up from one side and cut it into sections.

17. Let the cut buns rise for 15 minutes. Add water to the pot and bring to a boil. Apply oil on the steamer and place the buns on it. Cook over medium heat for 15 minutes, then turn off the heat and simmer for another 5 minutes before opening the pot.
