How to make a simple rice cooker stew

The most easily overlooked thing in cooking is the heat. When making the simple version of rice in a rice cooker, the heat is very important. Pay attention to the heat, and it will undoubtedly be a successful dish. When you entertain guests at home, you don’t have to go to a big hotel. Preparing a delicious dish like this will also impress your guests.

1. Wash the rice and soak it (prepare other ingredients while soaking)

2. Dice carrots

3. Dice the potatoes

4. Dice the chicken leg mushroom

5. Dice the pork

6. Dice the ham

7. Chop the onion, ginger and garlic

8. Pour appropriate amount of oil into the pot and sauté the star anise and bay leaves over low heat. Discard them after the aroma comes out.

9. Add onion, ginger and garlic into the pan and stir-fry until fragrant

10. Stir-fry the diced pork until it changes color

11. Add appropriate amount of sugar, 1 spoon of cooking wine, 2 spoons of soy sauce, 1 spoon of Pixian bean paste

12. Various sauces: seafood sauce, soybean sauce, XO sauce, and black bean sauce are all fine. If you don’t have them, you can use soy sauce instead.

13. Add diced carrots and diced potatoes and stir-fry

14. Add the diced Coprinus comatus

15. Add the diced ham, stir-fry evenly, add appropriate amount of salt and pepper to season, and turn off the heat.

16. After the rice is soaked, drain the water and put the fried ingredients into the rice cooker and mix well.

17. Add water to cover the rice, but don’t add too much as the ingredients themselves have moisture. Add a little less water than usual when stewing rice. Press the cooking button and wait for the rice to be cooked. Now you can go and clean up, without delaying anything, haha.

18. Ding ding ding ding. . . The fragrant stewed rice is ready, sprinkle with green onion leaves and start eating (I think I put a little too much water when I made it for the first time, haha)
