How to make corn, carrot and meat buns

Nowadays, many people have lost interest in cooking. In addition to being too busy at work, another big reason is that the cooking process is too complicated. In fact, the method of making corn, carrot and meat buns is very simple. It requires not many steps and you can learn it quickly as long as you are not too stupid.

1. Dissolve the yeast in warm water, mix it with flour, salt, sugar and water to make dough. Press the keep warm button on the rice cooker for three minutes. After three minutes, turn off the power, put a plate in the rice cooker, put the dough on it, cover it with plastic wrap, cover the rice cooker lid, and let the temperature of the rice cooker help it ferment. This is much faster than fermenting at room temperature.

2. Chop the front leg meat into minced meat and marinate it with minced garlic, salt, soy sauce, cornstarch, oil, pepper and chicken essence for 30 minutes. Grate the carrot into thin strips, chop the corn and add it to the marinated minced meat, then add the chopped green onion and mix well.

3. When the dough in the rice cooker has fermented to twice its original size, take the dough out of the rice cooker and knead it again to expel the gas in the dough.

4. Divide the dough into 6 equal parts.

5. Take 1 portion from the 6 equal portions and divide it into 9 equal portions.

6. Take one portion and use the dough to roll it into a round bun skin that is thin on the outside and thick in the middle. Wrap the meat filling on it to make a bun base. Repeat the same process with the remaining dough.

7. Let the steamed buns stand for 15 minutes to allow them to ferment again. After 15 minutes, apply a little oil on the steaming rack, place the steamed buns on the steaming rack, add cold water to the steamer, turn to medium-high heat, and steam for 18 minutes on low heat after steam comes out.

8. After 8 minutes, turn off the heat and don’t open the lid yet. Wait for 3 minutes before opening the lid. The plump white buns are out of the oven!
