How to make sweet potato rose buns

1. Wash and peel the sweet potatoes and set aside.

2. Cut the sweet potatoes into slices and steam them.

3. Put the steamed sweet potatoes into a larger container.

4. Use a spoon to mash the cooked sweet potatoes into sweet potato puree and let it cool before use.

5. Dissolve Angel yeast powder in 30-degree warm water.

6. Put flour, sugar and yeast powder into the container containing sweet potatoes, and stir into flocs with chopsticks.

7. Knead it into a smooth dough.

8. Cover the kneaded dough with plastic wrap and let it sit until it doubles in size.

10. Knead the fermented dough to remove bubbles and roll it into long strips.

11. Use a knife to cut into small pieces of similar size.

12. Roll it into a slightly thicker skin.

13. Arrange five pieces of rolled skin in order and press a line in the middle with chopsticks.

14. Roll up the five pieces of skin starting from the first one on top until all five pieces of skin are rolled up.

15. Use a knife to cut along the place where the chopsticks pressed, and cut the rolled skin into two halves.

16. Use your hands to slightly shape the petals.

17. Add water to the steamer, put the prepared sweet potato rose in cold water into the steamer, steam on high heat for 20 minutes after the water boils, and then steam for 5 minutes after turning off the heat.
