How to make Shandong steamed buns

1. Add a little sugar, half a spoon of baking soda, half a spoon of baking powder to the flour, dissolve the yeast in warm water (add 5 grams of yeast to 500 grams of flour), knead it into a slightly soft dough and put it in a warm place to rise.

2. Wash the cabbage, drain the water, cut into small pieces, mix with appropriate amount of salt and marinate for about 10 minutes

3. Cut the pork into small pieces, cut the onion into small pieces, and mince the ginger for later use.

4. Add a proper amount of oil to the pot, heat it and then turn to low heat. Add the diced meat and stir-fry until it changes color. Add a little thirteen spices, oyster sauce, and cooking wine. Stir-fry until fragrant. Add onions and minced ginger and stir-fry until the oil comes out.

5. Add sweet noodle sauce and stir well, then turn off the heat.

6. Rinse the cabbage with appropriate amount of water, squeeze it dry, add it to the cooled meat and mix well.

7. Knead the fermented dough evenly, let it exhaust and relax for 10 minutes, then pinch it into small pieces and roll it into a dough sheet that is thick in the middle and thin on the sides.

8. Wrap the mixed fillings and let it rise for 10 minutes.

9. Add appropriate amount of cold water to the pot, brush a little oil on the steamer, put the buns in, bring to a boil over high heat, steam for 15 minutes, turn off the heat and simmer for 3 minutes before serving.
