What to do with the pulp after squeezing the juice

Freshly squeezed juice can be seen everywhere on the street, and sometimes we also squeeze fresh juice at home. Compared with ordinary fruit juice drinks, freshly squeezed juice tastes very good and is good for human health. However, most people tend to throw away the pulp directly after squeezing the juice. In fact, the pulp can also be effectively reused and can be made into many delicious foods.

What to do with the pulp after squeezing the juice?

Every time you squeeze fruit juice, a lot of fruit residue will be left. Although the juice is rich in fruit nutrients, it lacks fiber. Fruits are high in fiber. Intake of a certain amount of fiber can not only lower blood cholesterol. And edible plant fiber has a laxative effect. This is an effect that drinking juice cannot achieve.

1. First, put the fruit residue into a larger bowl, add appropriate amount of white sugar (because most of the sugar flows out with the juice, adding some white sugar will make it more delicious, and friends with high blood sugar can add xylitol), add two eggs, and if you like salty and sweet taste, you can also add a small amount of salt. Then add white flour in a ratio of about 2:1 to pomace, then add water and mix until it becomes a thin paste.

2. Take a frying pan, add a little oil and heat it over low heat. Pour an appropriate amount of batter according to the size of the pan. Turn the pan at an angle to allow the batter to evenly cover the bottom of the pan. Wait until the batter solidifies and turns slightly yellow, then turn it over and fry the other side. When the batter is no longer sticky, turn it over and fry the other side. When it is cooked, remove from the pan and serve on a plate. Repeat this process until all the batter in the bowl is fried.

This fruit cake is soft and delicious, rich in fruit fiber, and no nutrients are wasted! Of course, this method is only suitable for some fruits with a softer texture (pineapple, sugarcane, etc. are not easy to use).

Can I eat the fruit residue after juicing?

It is recommended to eat the fruit residue.

It is best to eat squeezed fruit because the fruit residue is rich in fiber. Cellulose is also an essential nutrient for the human body, and it plays a great role in preventing certain digestive diseases and reducing the incidence of high cholesterol. In addition, some important trace elements remain in the fruit and vegetable residue after juicing, so it is best to eat the residue together with the juice.

Is it better to juice the fruit or eat it directly?

It is better to eat fruit directly as it has higher nutritional value.

Juice contains much less nutrients than fruit. When the fruit is pressed for juice, the pulp and membranes are removed. In this process, vitamin C is greatly reduced, and vitamin C is a trace element that our body needs to supplement. If the fruit itself contains very few vitamins, such as apples, the vitamins are almost completely destroyed in the process of squeezing into juice, so there is no point in drinking apple juice.
