How to make Xianju wheat cake

It is very simple to make Xianju wheat cake. The main ingredients are ginger, fruit and pepper. It is especially suitable for office workers and easy to make. 1. Add appropriate amount of water to flour and stir with chopsticks. When all the flour becomes sticky and clumping, knead the flour into a smooth dough with your hands, as shown in the picture below. Put it in a small bowl, cover it with a lid and let it stand, then prepare the filling.

2. The fillings I used today are pork belly and wild bitter vegetables. The bitter vegetables were blanched and soaked the day before. Take them out, squeeze out the water, cut them into vegetable pieces, and continue to squeeze out the water until there is no water left. Then chop the tofu into small pieces and mix them with the vegetables and pork belly. Add the chopped green onion and seasoning. You can adjust the seasoning according to your personal taste. You can also add some dried shrimps to make the taste more fresh.

3. Grab a small dough and knead it into the shape as shown below.

4. Press the dough into a shape that is thick in the middle and thin around the edges, and apply some oil in the middle so that the inside will not be too dry.

5. Knead the filling into a ball and place it on the pressed dough.

6. Put the filling into the dough and wrap it into a ball.

7. After wrapping, press the opening downwards.

8. Turn it over and flatten it, then continue to roll it bigger with a rolling pin.

9. After rolling it, it looks like this. It’s not round enough and not perfect enough.

10. Preheat the electric baking pan, brush it with oil, put the pancake in and bake.

11. Okay, it’s done.
