How to make carrot tofu meatballs

1. Chop the carrot into flakes. If it is too hard to chop, use a machine to grind it into flakes. Crush the tofu, the finer the better. Then add chopped green onion, salt and some starch, mix together, knead and mix well. Remember to wear disposable gloves.

2. Mix well and roll into small balls and place on a plate for later use. Because I never add chicken essence or MSG when cooking, if you like seasoning, you can add appropriate amount of chicken essence and MSG according to your personal preference when mixing in the previous step.

3. Put the rolled meatballs into a pan and fry until golden brown on the outside and cooked through on the inside. The oil temperature can be kept at 60 degrees for slow frying. If the oil temperature is too high, the outside will be burnt and the inside will not be cooked through.

4. Put a small amount of oil in the pot, mix starch, soy sauce and water into the pot to make starch juice, then pour it on the fried meatballs and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
