How to make steamed pork ribs with shacha garlic

1. Wash the peeled garlic cloves and cut them into minced garlic.

2. Wash the ribs and cut into small pieces.

3. Put the chopped ribs in a bowl, add two small packets of shacha powder, appropriate amount of Wei Ji Xian soy sauce, dark soy sauce, white sugar, and minced garlic, mix well and marinate for 15 minutes to half an hour. (You can massage the ribs slightly when marinating to make them absorb the flavor faster)

4. After the ribs are marinated, add appropriate amount of starch and mix well.

5. Bring the water in the steamer to a boil, put the ribs in, cover the pot and steam over high heat for 20 minutes, then reduce the heat and steam for about an hour and a half. (If you don’t want it to take too long, or if you don’t want the bones to become mushy, and you just want to eat the meat, then just lower the heat and steam for about half an hour.)

6. After steaming the shacha garlic pork ribs, sprinkle with appropriate amount of coriander, cover the pot and simmer for one minute or serve directly.
