What medicinal materials are used to make medicinal wine at home

Medicinal wine has been treated as a beverage since a long time ago, usually kept at home and taken out by parents to drink during the Chinese New Year. Later, medicinal wine became a medicine because of its good efficacy. Some families would make some medicinal wine according to some folk remedies and use it to treat some stubborn illnesses. Some families love to drink, but they won’t make some overly strange medicinal liquors for fear of harming their bodies. The following is an introduction to some home-made medicinal liquors, which you can drink as a beverage in your spare time.

  1. Qi and blood-tonifying wine contains 33 grams of ginseng, 25 grams of astragalus, 20 grams of angelica root, 60 grams of longan meat, 15 grams of Chuanxiong, and 45 grams of Rehmannia glutinosa. Soak in 50-degree rice wine for 1 month. Function and usage: Suitable for weak Qi and blood, pale and dull complexion, fatigue, or scanty and light menstruation, late menstruation, etc. Take 10 to 20 ml each time. Those who are not good at drinking can mix this wine into soup and drink it. Or you can use this wine to stew chicken, which will also have good results. Contraindications: Do not take if you have cold, fever, ulcer, respiratory disease or liver disease.

2. Strengthening waist and nourishing kidney wine: 60 grams of Morinda officinalis, 45 grams of Cistanche deserticola, 33 grams of Eucommia ulmoides, 25 grams of ginseng, 18 grams of deer antler slices, 1 pair of gecko, 30 grams of Dipsacus asper, 15 grams of Drynaria fortunei, 75 grams of rock sugar, and 1 kilogram of 50-proof rice wine. Soak for 1 month. Function and usage: It can strengthen the yang, waist and kidney, and is suitable for men with weak waist and knees, and impotence; it can also be used for women with low libido, low blood pressure, and weak waist. Take 10 to 20 ml each time.

3. Blood-activating and stasis-removing wine: 85 grams of Panax notoginseng (crushed or sliced), 25 grams of Angelica sinensis, 33 grams of Dipsacus asper, 28 grams of Sophora japonica, 30 grams of Ligusticum chuanxiong, 18 grams of Safflower, 35 grams of Corydalis yanhusuo, 15 grams of Cyperus rotundus, 70 grams of crystal sugar, and 1 kilogram of 50-proof rice wine. Soak for 1 month. Function and usage: Promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis and relieve pain. Suitable for old injuries and muscle and bone pain. Take 10 to 15 ml each time. It can also be applied externally to the affected area. 4. Qufeng Huoluo wine: 90 grams of white flower snake, 32 grams of Chuanxiong, 20 grams of Sichuan papaya, 25 grams each of Jianghuo and Duhuo, 40 grams of Qiannianjian, 18 grams of processed Chuanwu, 28 grams of Qinjiao, 45 grams of Sichuan Achyranthes, 50 grams of Banfenghe, and 100 grams of crystal sugar. 1.5 kg of 50-proof rice wine, soak for 1 month.
