Steamed salmon recipe and steps

Fish can be cooked in many ways, such as braised fish, steamed fish, fried fish, deep-fried fish, etc. Steamed salmon is one of the fish cooking methods. Before making steamed salmon, you must first clean the fish and remove the fishy smell thoroughly. In this way, the fish will be tender and delicious. To cook salmon, you must follow his steps step by step. Let’s learn together below.

Prepare the ingredients. The salmon is ready, already sliced ​​and on a plate.

Dice the onion, mince the ginger and mince the garlic and put them in separate bowls for later use.

Add appropriate amount of cooking wine and Vegetarian to marinate the salmon.

After the water in the steamer boils, place the steaming tray with the salmon in it, cover and steam for 20 minutes.

Stir-fry sauce: Heat a wok with appropriate amount of cooking oil, add onion, ginger and garlic and sauté until fragrant; add soy sauce and sugar and stir-fry.

Take out the steamed fish plate and pour the steamed fish juice into the fried onion, ginger and garlic sauce.

Mix well and pour over the steamed salmon before serving.

Precautions

Because I make this for kids, I don’t add salt or pepper. If you want to add seasoning, you can add it according to your taste.

This steaming method is suitable for all kinds of fish, and it is delicious and easy to make.

Method 1

1. The ingredients are very simple, a piece of salmon, some mushrooms, onions, ginger, coriander and garlic. Cut salmon into large pieces; cut onion into strips; slice mushrooms; cut cilantro into sections; mince garlic; and cut ginger into strips;

2. Take a large plate. The plate should not be too shallow. A lot of soup will flow out when the fish is steamed. Put a layer of onion shreds on the plate, then a layer of mushroom slices, and finally sprinkle some shredded ginger.

3. Place the salmon on the onion slices, mushroom slices and ginger slices and steam for about 6-7 minutes;

4. Take a small bowl, pour the soup from the steamed fish into it, then add the chopped garlic, a few drops of seafood soy sauce, a little bit of sugar, mix well and pour it on the salmon, sprinkle with a little chopped coriander, or you can directly take the fish and dip it in the sauce to eat.

Method 2

1. Shred onion and ginger, and chop coriander stems into fine pieces. Spread half of the shredded onion and ginger on a plate. Place the salmon on top of the shredded onion and ginger. Place the other half of the shredded onion and ginger on top of the fish.

2. Add water to the pot, bring it to a boil, place the fish plate on the steamer and cover it with a lid. When you see steam, steam for 3-4 minutes; to make the sauce: heat the pan over low heat until slightly hot, add a few drops of olive oil (don’t make the oil too hot), add a few drops of steamed fish soy sauce, add a tablespoon of boiling water, then pour into a bowl, add a little chopped coriander and mix well; gently transfer the steamed salmon to another plate, pour the sauce on it and serve.
