How to make braised taro tofu meat buns

1. Remove the skin from the pork loin.

2. Chop green onion and minced ginger, add 1 egg and put into the meat filling.

3. Add salt, sugar, pepper, soy sauce, sesame oil and chicken essence and beat until it becomes the filling.

4.Peel the taro.

5. Cut into pieces and soak in water (drain the water before frying).

6. Soak the fried tofu, wash and set aside.

7. Take a fried tofu bubble and poke a hole in one side with a small board.

8. Use your hands to squeeze it open a little and put in the meat filling.

9. Fill the fried tofu puffs with the meat filling and press firmly.

10. Fill all the meat fillings into the fried tofu puffs one by one. (Note: The meat filling in the fried tofu puffs must be filled up and compacted so that it will not deflate after cooking)

11. Heat oil in a pan and sauté ginger and garlic slices.

12. Add taro and tofu meat buns and stir-fry briefly.

13. Add dark soy sauce, salt, sugar, and appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, cover and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. When there is a little soup left in the pot, add chicken essence and mix well.
