Gorgon fruit is rich in starch, which can provide heat energy for the human body, and contains a variety of vitamins and carbon substances to ensure the necessary nutritional components for the body. It has the effects of strengthening the kidneys and astringing semen, nourishing the spleen and stopping diarrhea, and promoting dampness and strengthening the middle. Barley malt has a strong effect in reducing lactation, and can promote qi and aid digestion, strengthen the spleen and stimulate appetite, and reduce lactation and bloating. The ingredients for the recipe are 50g wheat, 20g coix seed, 20g water chestnut, 30g malt, and a small amount of seasoning. Put hawthorn slices, water chestnuts, roasted malt and coix seeds into a gauze bag and tie it tightly. Pour an appropriate amount of water into the pot, put in the seasoning bag, bring to a boil on high heat, then simmer for half an hour on low heat, remove the seasoning bag, add brown sugar to taste and it is done.
