1. Pork shank, bitter gourd and corn soup

Bitter melon is sweet and mild in nature. It nourishes the blood and liver, moistens the spleen and tonifies the kidneys. It also has the effect of clearing away heat, clearing the mind and improving eyesight and detoxifying.

Ingredients: Fresh pork shank, bitter gourd, fresh corn, ginger slices, cooking wine

practice:

1. Slice the bitter melon, remove the inner white membrane and seeds, and blanch it in boiling water to remove some of the bitterness;

2. Wash and slice the fresh corn;

3. Boil the pork shanks in boiling water to remove the blood and dirty water;

4. Then boil the water in the pot, put in the pork leg bones, add ginger slices and cooking wine, turn on high heat, and simmer on low heat until the bone soup is thick;

5. Add fresh corn and bitter gourd, and season with salt and a little chicken essence.

2. Lotus root and pork ribs soup

Lotus root has high nutritional value and has the effects of helping digestion and stopping diarrhea, stimulating appetite and clearing heat, and nourishing. Spare ribs contain a large amount of protein, collagen and calcium phosphate, which are very helpful for strengthening tendons and bones.

Ingredients: spare ribs, lotus root, ginger

practice:

1. Wash the lotus root, cut it into small pieces and set aside. Wash the ribs and set aside.

2. Add water to the pot, put in ginger slices and green onion, and after the water boils, add the cleaned ribs to blanch and remove the blood;

3. Rinse the blanched ribs with clean water and drain the water;

4. Put enough water in the pot, add ginger slices and pork ribs;

5. Cover the lid and bring to a boil, then simmer over medium-low heat for half an hour;

6. Add lotus root and continue stewing for one hour. Season with salt before serving.

3. Crucian carp tofu soup

Crucian carp has the effects of strengthening the spleen and eliminating dampness, harmonizing the stomach and stimulating appetite, promoting blood circulation and unblocking meridians, warming the middle and lowering qi. It has a good nourishing and therapeutic effect on weak spleen and stomach, edema, ulcers, bronchitis, asthma, and diabetes; while tofu is a tonic, heat-clearing and health-preserving food, and is rich in protein.

Ingredients: crucian carp, soft tofu, cooking wine, ginger

practice:

1. Clean the crucian carp, rub some salt on its belly, and stuff some onions and ginger slices inside to remove the fishy smell;

2. Put some oil in the pan, add the crucian carp and fry until both sides are slightly yellow.

3. Add ginger slices, water, and three tablespoons of cooking wine, and cook over high heat for 8 minutes;

4. Cut the tofu into cubes and put into the pot, turn to low heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes;

5. Add appropriate amount of chopped green onion and salt to taste.
