How to make flower-shaped mung bean paste buns

1. Add warm water that is about the same temperature as your hands and yeast to the flour, mix well and let it ferment until it is twice as large or more.

2.1 Knead the fermented dough again and roll it into long strips.

3.2 Prepare the mung bean paste. (This is what I made myself, the method is the same as red bean paste)

4.1 Flatten by hand.

5.2 Cut into small pieces.

6.1 Add appropriate amount of mung bean paste.

7.2 Roll the dough into a slightly thicker middle and slightly rounded shape.

8.1 Fold from the outside one third to the middle.

9.2 Pinch it together.

10. Fold the other end from one-third to the middle, like a Z shape.

11.Pinch both ends.

12. Put it into the pot and let it rise twice. Then, steam it over high heat for ten minutes, then turn to medium heat and steam for five minutes and turn off the heat.

13. Turn off the heat and simmer for three minutes, then remove from the pot and serve.
