How to make mooncakes with red bean paste filling

7. Take a piece of dough and flatten it, put a puff pastry in it and wrap it tightly.

8. Make 14 of them in sequence and then have a reunion.

9. Take a small ball, place it on the silicone mat, and use a rolling pin to roll it into a long strip.

10. Roll up from top to bottom.

11. After all the rolls are rolled up, cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 15 minutes.

12. Unroll it again and let it sit for 15 minutes.

13. Press the middle with your fingers, pinch and flatten the two ends.

14. Unroll the dough and place the red bean paste balls wrapped in salted egg yolks on top.

15. Pinch the opening tightly.

16. Place the cake with the seam facing down on the baking tray, brush with egg wash and sprinkle with black sesame seeds.

17. Place the baking tray into the middle layer of the preheated oven, bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes.

18. Time is up and it’s ready.
