How to make Putian oyster pancakes

A good diet is directly related to our health. It is easy to eat out, but health is not guaranteed. Therefore, even if we have limited time, we might as well make some simple dishes at home. The method of Putian oyster pancake is very simple and can provide the body with a variety of necessary nutrients.

2. Prepare the ingredients: wash the onions, leeks, and oysters, peel the carrots, smash the fried peanuts and blow off the peanut skins (just smash the peanuts lightly, no need to smash them too finely). You can buy fried peanuts directly or fry them yourself at home!

3. Cut the carrots into thin strips. I used one and a half carrots, and I felt that two were a bit too much (the two carrots I bought were a bit big, but two smaller ones would be fine)

4. Pour the shredded carrots into the pot (no water or oil in the pot)

5. Stir-fry for a while, and when it is cooked, pour it out and let it cool! (The fire doesn’t need to be too big when frying)

6. Squeeze out the excess water from the carrot shreds with your hands

7. Don’t cut off the leek heads first, save them for cooking later.

8. Squeeze out all the water from the shredded carrots, cut the leeks into small sections, and chop the onions!

9. Take a larger bowl, pour in the oysters, sweet potato starch and appropriate amount of water and stir into a paste!

10. When adding water, be sure to add an appropriate amount depending on the situation, because oysters also contain water!

11. Add leeks, onions and carrots and mix well.

12. Add the fried peanuts, appropriate amount of salt, vinegar and light soy sauce and mix well!

13. You don’t need to put too much seasoning, just a little bit will be enough, the oysters themselves are fresh! Adding too much seasoning will affect the taste!

14. Add a proper amount of oil to the pot, heat the oil, then take a proper amount of oyster paste and spread it on the bottom of the pot (you can spread it thinner so it is easier to cook)

15. Fry over low heat until it is shaped, then use a spatula to turn the oyster pancake over and fry both sides until golden brown!

16. Repeat this process until the oyster paste is done. Remember to use low heat throughout the process.

19. You can choose the ingredients according to your own preferences. You can also use white radish. It is strongly recommended to add fried peanuts, which will be especially fragrant!
