How to make mushroom and red bean paste steamed buns

1. Prepare all materials.

2. Add sugar and yeast to the flour and pour into a bowl.

3. Slowly pour in the milk and stir.

4. Knead the dough. It will be very sticky at first.

5. Slowly the milk becomes completely absorbed by the flour and becomes smooth.

6. Cover the sugar with plastic wrap for half an hour until it looks like the picture.

7. Divide into four equal parts and make mushroom drumsticks with one of them.

8. Knead the other 3 portions together again.

9. Cut into 30g pieces.

10. Press into round pieces.

11. Roll into a thin pancake and add 20 grams of fillings (I made red bean paste and lotus paste)

12. Pinch it with your hands, leaving a "chi" shape.

13. Place in a suitable container.

14. Cut one of the portions into small pieces weighing 13 grams each.

15. Roll it into one side pointed and the other side thick, as shown in the picture.

16. Stand up and squat down to make it flatter.

17. Wrap the shaped mushrooms in cocoa powder and dry them in the sun.

18. Place in the steamer, leaving some space.

19. Keep the heat on medium for a quarter of an hour, then simmer for 5 minutes and take out immediately.

20. After taking it out of the pot, poke a hole with chopsticks.

21. Insert the mushroom legs and place them on the plate.

In the preparation of mushroom and red bean paste steamed buns, there is no need for various fancy methods, only simple operations are needed. The pan-frying speed is very fast, and the stir-frying makes it more fragrant and fully awakens the taste buds.
