How to make white radish and meat dumplings

Many people neglect their diet because they are too busy at work and just deal with it casually. In fact, we don’t need to spend too much energy to prepare a delicious dinner for ourselves, as long as we make the right choice. The preparation of white radish and meat-stuffed vegetable dumplings does not take too much time and can be completed in just a few simple steps.

1. Peel the white radish and cut it into shreds first. I cut it by hand as I don’t have tools to cut radish shreds, but you can use tools if you have them.

2. Then put it on the chopping board and chop it into small pieces. It doesn’t need to be too fine. Put the stuffing on a handkerchief and pinch the four corners to squeeze out the moisture.

3. Squeeze out all the water and put it in a bowl for later use.

4. Wash the pork belly, cut it into four pieces and put it into a stuffing grinder. If you are worried that the meat will be minced too finely, you can grind it a few times and then continue chopping it on the chopping board. This is what I did.

6. Knead the dough, put it in a bowl, cover it and let it rest for a while.

7. Add oil to the pot, bring it to a boil, add a few peppercorns and fry until fragrant, then remove from the pot and let the oil cool for later use.

8. Prepare the green onion and minced ginger and put them into the pork filling. Add appropriate amount of salt, chicken essence, soy sauce, and cooled oil to the pork filling and stir evenly in one direction.

9. Add the white radish filling into the pork filling and stir evenly in one direction. The filling is ready.

10. At this time, the dough has risen. After kneading it a few more times, you can start making dumplings. Knead the dough into long round strips and cut into appropriate-sized pieces.

11. Roll the pancake skin.

12. Put appropriate amount of filling on the crust.

13. Pinch both sides tightly first.

14. Pinch the left side, and pinch the pleats one by one towards the middle.

18. Put water into the pot and start steaming!

19. After the water boils over high heat, turn to medium heat and steam for 20 minutes.

20. Serve and start eating. It smells so good!
