How to make milk sweet potato steamed buns

Only by eating well can we have a healthier body, but many people now ignore this point and often wait until a disease occurs before paying attention to diet. In fact, the method of making milk and sweet potato steamed buns is simple and the taste is delicious. With just a few simple steps, you and your family can taste delicious food while ensuring your health. Why not do it?

1. Finished photos (I rushed to pick up my kids from school and took two photos in a hurry)

2. Peel and wash a large sweet potato, cut it into small pieces and steam it for later use.

3. Pour out the water from the steamed sweet potatoes and add sugar while they are still hot.

4. Use a spoon to press the sweet potatoes as thinly as possible.

5. Prepare a large bowl with some hot water and soak the milk until it is warm.

6. Pour the yeast into the warm milk and dissolve it.

7. Pour the mixed yeast milk into the sweet potato puree and mix well

8. Pour the mixed sweet potato puree into the flour

9. Stir it until it becomes flocs.

10. Knead the dough into a smooth dough with your hands (just make sure the bowl, hands and dough are shiny) and let it ferment (it took me two hours)

11. When the dough has doubled in size, poke a hole in the middle with your finger and the dough around it does not shrink.

12. Turn over the fermented dough and it will become a honeycomb shape.

13. Sprinkle some flour on the chopping board and knead the dough to release the air.

14. Knead it for a few more minutes, and then knead it into a smooth cylindrical strip (knead it for a few more minutes to make it chewier)

15. Use a knife to cut the dough into steamed buns of the same size.

16. Gently tidy up the four corners of the steamed bun embryo with your hands

17. Let the steamed buns rest for another 20-30 minutes (the rested buns are very soft and feel light to the touch)

18. Gently put the buns into the steamer and steam them over high heat for 12-15 minutes. Turn off the heat and wait 3 minutes before opening the lid. (I don’t have a big steamer, so I can’t steam too many buns at a time. It’s very crowded. I suggest leaving more space between the buns.)

19. After steaming, they are all squeezed together

20. Serve on a plate (very soft and fragrant with milk. Two children came home from school and each ate 3 steamed buns plus a bottle of yogurt)

Of course, we are not saying that you cannot eat out at all, but don’t eat out too frequently. Although the method of making milk and sweet potato steamed buns is not complicated, they are very delicious.
