Korean Beef Hot Pot

Korean beef hot pot recipe:

1. Cut the leaf part of the green onion into sections and chop the white part.

2. Mix the seasonings according to the ratio. You can add a small spoonful of plum juice to soften the meat (you can also use beer instead).

4. Cut the beef into pieces 5 to 6 cm wide.

7. While the beef is marinating, start soaking the vermicelli. After the water boils, add the vermicelli and cook for 1-2 minutes, then turn off the heat and let it sit for 8-9 minutes, then rinse with cold water 2-3 times. The vermicelli cooked in this way will not stick together even if left for a long time. You can cook more at a time and put it in the refrigerator to eat slowly.

8. While the vermicelli is soaking, you can prepare the vegetables. In order, they are carrots, chopped green onions, onions, peppers and mushrooms.

9. In the hot pot pot (you can use a soup pot instead), first put a layer of vermicelli, then put the beef on it, and then cover the vegetables on top. You can also add some chili according to your personal preference.

10. If you feel that the taste is a bit bland after adding the vegetables, you can pour in a little soup and simmer it on low heat. Soup ingredients ratio: one cup of hot water, 1 teaspoon of soy sauce, a small amount of pepper, 1 spoon of cooking wine, and a small amount of sesame oil.

Cook over low heat until it boils, and the Korean beef hotpot is ready.

2. Do not use salt to season the beef when adding marinade, because salt will cause the beef to release water, lose its gravy and make the meat tough.
