Fried glutinous rice cakes

Fried glutinous rice cakes are simple to make and can satisfy women's little thoughts.

1. Prepare the ingredients

2. Mix the glutinous rice flour evenly, add water, knead into dough, and let it sit for about fifteen minutes.

3. Find a small semicircular bowl-shaped mold. I use a special mold for making snow meringues. If you don’t have one, you can use the lid of a sawdust cup or the lid of some ice cream jars instead. You can also do it hands-off, which is a bit more troublesome.

4. Put the glutinous rice dough into the mold, flatten it with your fingers, and add powdered sugar (white sugar).

5. Use your thumb to press the edge of the dough along the inner layer of the mold and push it towards the middle.

6. Wrap the glutinous rice ball and flatten it.

7. Use four fingers to push outwards from one side, as shown in the picture.

8. Roll into a round shape.

9. Flatten the round dough on the chopping board.

10. Put the glutinous rice cakes into the hot oil and fry both sides until they are browned.

11. Remove from the dish and serve! Finished product picture!
