1. Cut the coconut mouth into a triangle shape and pour out half of the coconut milk to soak the glutinous rice.

2. Use Thai glutinous rice and soak it in coconut milk

3. Use a small bowl or plate to hold the round coconut for filling with glutinous rice and for steaming.

4. Use a spoon and a single chopstick to push the glutinous rice that has been soaked for three hours into the mouth of the coconut. Add the glutinous rice to four-fifths of the volume of the coconut and seal it.

5. Steam the whole coconut in a steamer for three to four hours. During this process, the steamer must be sealed and there must be enough water in the steamer.

6. After the coconut is steamed, use the back of a knife to cut through the skin to reveal the white coconut meat.

7. Rinse the coconut shells off the surface of the coconut with cold water and boiled water, and cut it on the chopping board.

8. Cut the coconut meat with a knife. Apply some oil on the knife to make it easier to cut.

Sweet Coconut Rice

Ingredients: coconut, glutinous rice, sugar, coconut milk, desiccated coconut, coffee sugar (only a small piece is added to make the taste more fragrant)

1. Remove the shell of the coconut and pour out the coconut water. Coconut water is a good thing, it can cool you down and reduce internal heat! Then remove the yellow skin of the coconut and set aside.

2. Wash the glutinous rice first, drain the water, then soak the glutinous rice with coconut milk, add the crushed coffee sugar, and soak for about 2 hours. After the glutinous rice has swelled, put it in the coconut and add enough coconut milk to cover the rice grains. Bring the water to a boil and steam for 2 and a half hours.

3. After steaming, let it cool, cut into pieces, and sprinkle with coconut flakes.
