How to make simple homemade yogurt

For most modern people, few people cook at home regularly because they are all very busy. And being busy also destroys their precious health. You should know that the food outside contains excessive amounts of oil and salt, and if you consume it for a long time you will get seriously ill. In order to prevent the occurrence of diseases, we must learn to cook for ourselves. Now, I will tell you about the simple method of making homemade yogurt.

1. The raw materials are simple and the method is also simple: a bag of yogurt powder, three and a half bottles of fresh milk (half a bottle was not photographed), sugar and cream (you can omit them if you don’t have them, just add 1kg of sour milk). The taste is mellower with cream, and refreshing without cream, both taste good.

2. Disinfect the tools used first. The simplest way is to boil it in water several times. If you have a sterilizer at home, you can use it. Mix 900g of milk and 100g of cream, then add 40g of sugar. If the sugar does not dissolve, you can put a basin of hot water underneath. Add more sugar. Wouldn’t it be sour? Take away the hot water basin, wait for the milk to cool down a little, then add the bacterial powder and stir evenly.

3. Pour it into the bread machine bucket. My bread machine is not very big. So if you fill it first and put it in the bread machine, it won’t fit. So I do it before filling, which doesn't affect the shape of the yogurt much. I put it in the bread machine and select the yogurt function. My bread machine takes 8 hours. I have also seen people using the fermentation function of the oven to make yogurt on the forum, and it was also very successful.

4. When you want to eat it, take it out and mix it with various fruit jams or honey, which are both good choices. I mixed it with homemade strawberry jam. I wanted to try a thinner yogurt this time, so I took it out after seven hours. It can be filled in a pudding bottle and placed in the refrigerator, which is quite delicious.

5. Because I wanted to try a thinner yogurt, I didn’t ferment it for such a long time. This yogurt is much thicker than the one you buy outside. If you want to drink old yogurt, you can let it ferment for 8 hours. It will be semi-solid when you take it out.

6. Isn’t this kind of breakfast or afternoon tea very tempting? If you don’t want to gain weight, you can also eat it with yogurt and salad.

The simple method of making homemade yogurt has been introduced, but everyone’s understanding and mastery of it are different. Below you can do it according to your own understanding.
