How to make Western steak?

Steak is one of the important ingredients in Western cuisine. It is nutritious and delicious, and is loved by people. In fact, there are two methods of making Western steak, both of which are very simple and suitable for making at home. But it should be noted that the tendons in the beef must be broken before cooking, as this will make it easier to cook.

Method 1:

Ingredients preparation

500g sirloin steak, 40g butter, 10g salt, 10g black pepper, 300g vegetables, 1 lemon.

Method steps

1. Place the beef in plastic wrap and beat it to break the tendons. Apply butter evenly on both sides and set aside.

2. Add the sirloin steak and fry one side over high heat for 2 minutes, turn it over, sprinkle some black pepper and salt and fry for another 2 minutes, then squeeze some lemon juice on the surface (50% cooked).

3. Turn over again, sprinkle with black pepper and salt and fry for 2 minutes (almost 80% cooked).

4. After the steak is fried, use the oil and saltiness from the steak in the pan to fry the vegetables until horizontal stripes appear and then serve.

Cooking Tips

1. When frying sirloin steak, you must grasp the following points: the surface of the beef must be heated quickly to produce a large number of spice molecules, but the cell walls of the meat must not be broken. It is also best to use a thick-bottomed iron pan, because the thick cast iron conducts heat evenly and heats quickly. This is the only way to bring out the original flavor of the beef.

2. If you like to eat it tender, you can skip the step of turning it over.

Method 2:

Ingredients preparation

200 grams of beef tenderloin, some crushed black pepper, half a teaspoon of salt, half a potato, 1 cherry tomato, a small amount of salt, 20 grams of butter, 60 grams of red wine, half a teaspoon of dark soy sauce, 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda, 4 small florets of broccoli, half a small onion, some chopped coriander, and 60 grams of French black pepper sauce.

Method steps

1. Tenderize the beef with a meat tenderizer, place it in a bowl, add red wine, salt and baking soda and marinate for 2 hours.

2. Put butter in the electric baking pan, select self-cooking - high heat - close the upper plate - start.

3. When the lower plate is heated to 200 degrees, put the beef in and fry it. The frying time depends on the degree of doneness you want. Generally, fry it for 30 seconds on each side for medium-rare, 1 minute for medium-rare, and 2-3 minutes for more than 70%.

4. Turn it over and fry again, then you can take out the beef.

5. Dice potatoes, tear broccoli into small florets, cut cherry tomatoes in half, and slice onions.

6. Reheat the electric baking pan, select self-cooking - high heat - close the upper plate - start. When the lower plate is heated to 200 degrees, add various vegetables and fry them. Add a small amount of salt, crushed black pepper and chopped herbs and stir well.

7. Place the fried vegetables and steak on a plate, heat the black pepper sauce and pour it on the surface of the steak.
