3.1 Because the temperature is high in summer, put it directly on the steamer, cover it with a lid and ferment for about 25 to 30 minutes (if it is cold, you can add hot water to the steamer to help fermentation)

4.2 Arrange in a steamer lined with baking paper (leave enough space between each to prevent them from sticking together after steaming)

5. When the steamed buns have finished fermenting, start steaming them in cold water over medium heat. Do not close the steamer lid too tightly. After the water boils, start steaming for about 12 to 15 minutes until the buns are cooked. After turning off the heat, open the lid a little and let it sit for 3 minutes, then open the lid completely. Take out the rose buns and place them on a plate. It's done.

6. If you use an electric cooker to steam, add 1 cup of rice and 1 cup of water to the outer pot. After it pops up, open a small gap and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes before opening the lid and taking out the finished product. Today's rose steamed buns are made in an electric cooker.... 7. (If you don’t have a mixing tool, you can also knead it by hand. Mix the ingredients and knead until smooth.) That is, the dough does not stick to the hands or the bowl, and the surface of the dough itself is smooth. Usually Chinese pastries only need to be kneaded to this stage...
