How to make brown sugar hollow biscuits

1. Mix the dough ingredients and knead until smooth and can be pulled into a thick film.

2. Fermentation at room temperature will increase the size by 2.5 times. Divide into 50 g portions.

3. Mix the filling ingredients and grind them into powder using a food processor. Take a piece of dough, roll it into a pancake that is thick in the middle and thin around the edges, and wrap it with a large spoonful of filling. Be sure to pinch the opening tightly, otherwise the filling will come out.

4. Use a rolling pin to roll it into 1 cm thick round cake and place it on the baking tray.

5. After wrapping everything, preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Brush the surface of the round cake with egg wash and sprinkle with black sesame seeds or other decorations (I didn’t have sesame seeds, so I sprinkled wheat germ)

6. Middle rack of oven. Bake for about 13 minutes. If you like a crispy crust, you can extend the baking time appropriately. If you like it soft, you can shorten the time. Never open the oven during cooking.
