How to make chicken rolls with honey walnuts and mixed vegetables

The same dish will definitely taste different when cooked by different people. In addition to the differences in the human body, it is actually more of a difference in cooking methods. In fact, everyone wants to eat delicious food. Well, let me introduce to you the specific method of making honey walnut and vegetable chicken rolls.

1. Wash and drain the chicken legs, remove the bones, and use a knife to slice the thicker parts into thin slices to make the thickness of the whole chicken leg uniform.

2.1 Rub the salt and sprinkle some crushed black pepper on it and marinate for a while

3.2 Apply salt on both sides of the chicken legs and rub them with your hands for a while to make it easier to absorb the flavor. This way, the chicken skin will become crisper after baking (don’t apply too much salt, a small pinch on each side is enough. If it’s not salty enough after baking, you can use various dipping sauces you like to remedy it)

4.121 Drying

5.212 Soak walnut kernels for a while

6. Prepare vegetables: You can be creative with this, just make the colors staggered and jumpy. I wanted to put some fresh American sweet corn, but I didn’t see any for sale. I don’t like canned sweet corn because it’s too watery.

7. Blanch the selected vegetables in oil and salt water

8. Rinse with cold water for later use

9. Cut the vegetables into appropriate lengths according to the width of the chicken (the chicken will shorten when roasted, so the length of the vegetables can be cut smaller than the width of the chicken)

10. Spread out the chicken legs, put various prepared vegetables and California walnuts on them, then roll them up and tie them tightly with cotton thread.

11. Put tin foil on the baking tray and put the rolled chicken legs on it.

12. Brush a layer of honey water on the surface, put it into the preheated oven at 200 degrees, and bake it for about 25 minutes.

13. During this period, you can take it out 1 or 2 times and brush it with honey water until the surface turns golden brown

14. Take out the baked chicken drumstick rolls and let them cool down

15. Cut off the cotton thread, cut into pieces of appropriate thickness and serve on a plate (be sure to let it cool slightly before cutting, so that the baked chicken rolls will not fall apart easily)
