Continue to simmer for more than ten minutes, then turn off the heat and simmer in the slow cooker overnight. You will have delicious salted bone porridge the next morning.

1. Usually when I get up in the morning, I will continue to add some sesame oil to cook the porridge on the stove so that it tastes better when it is hot.

2. In authentic Cantonese porridge, you can’t see individual grains of rice, so you have to cook it slowly and carefully!
