The fried enoki mushrooms are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and they are refreshing. The frying method of enoki mushrooms is also relatively simple. You need to prepare eggs, pepper salt and corn starch. After washing the enoki mushrooms, apply egg and corn starch paste on them and then fry them in a pan.

How to fry enoki mushrooms

Ingredients: 500g enoki mushrooms, 2 eggs, 1 spoon of pepper and salt, 2 spoons of corn starch, 2 spoons of flour, a little water, 1 spoon of cumin powder, a little cooked sesame seeds

Steps for making fried enoki mushrooms

1. Cut the bottom of the enoki mushroom a little bit, don’t cut too much, otherwise the enoki mushroom will fall apart!

2. Divide the enoki mushrooms into several small portions, rinse them under the tap, squeeze out the water with your hands and set aside!

3. Put 2 spoons of flour, 2 spoons of corn starch, 2 eggs, 1 spoon of cumin powder, 1 spoon of pepper salt (I made this pepper salt myself!), and a little water in a bowl!

4. Use a whisk to mix until it becomes a paste! Don’t make it too thick, a little thinner. If it’s too thick, the fried enoki mushrooms will be in clumps, which doesn’t look good!

5. Put the enoki mushrooms into the prepared batter and try to coat them with batter!

6. Put on disposable gloves, take out the enoki mushrooms covered with batter, and smooth off the excess batter from the root of the enoki mushrooms downwards. Finish all the enoki mushrooms in turn and place them on a plate for frying!

7. Pour a little more oil into the pan, heat it up, put in the enoki mushrooms coated with batter, turn to low heat and fry until both sides of the enoki mushrooms are golden brown, then remove from the pan and drain the oil!

8. The crispy and delicious fried enoki mushrooms are ready. Sprinkle a little cooked sesame seeds on them. They are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and are very delicious!

Tips

Don’t make the batter too thick, make it a little thinner, otherwise it will be clumpy and look ugly! Don’t put too much batter on the enoki mushrooms. Smooth off the excess batter from the root downwards before frying them in the pan!
